I was the site manager for this multi-story car park development project, which at that time was the biggest project ever in Goldbeck’s history. Preliminary works involved demolishing the access staircase to the Hilton Hotel.
Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic resulted in premature termination of the contract and the site was abandoned after completing the installation of extensive drainage to circumvent existing structures of the airport, 1800 piles and 90% of the foundations.
